New – Red Wing X Stetson

Stetson and Red Wing are bringing their shared American Heritage sensibility to a fashion collection of headwear for this fall. Both Stetson hats and Red Wing boots were born in American and have become best sellers across the world. Stetson and Red Wing are very proud that their first collaboration will debut now.

The collection includes 4 styles that all incorporate Red Wing boot leathers into the hats. There are two eight-panel or newsboy styles – one all leather cap and one stitched from a dark sporting plaid with a leather brim. The third style is a fur trapper using the sporting plaid and chocolate leather trimmed with the softest rabbit fur. Further, there is a classic Marlon Brando cap, made of original Red Wing leather. Beyond the materials and design, both companies have a style that celebrates quality and craftsmanship.

The Puritan Stitching Machine

The Puritan sewing machine has been referred to as a “work horse” within the Red Wing Shoe Company. The Puritan creates our iconic triple stitch detail which contributes to the durability and strength of our boots. Listen to those who work with these machines as they explain how they work, and why we keep using them.

New – Red Wing 8881

This fall, Red Wing offers a new style of the classic 6-inch Moc Toe, by origin a style for farmers and hunters. The new 8881 comes in Olive Mohave leather with gold/tan leather lacing. Olive Mohave leather is a high quality, waterproof suede. Red Wing specially developed the leather for the US Army – but no longer uniquely. This suede, combined with the crepe cushion outsole, triple stitched quality and Goodyear welt construction make it a typical Red Wing boot.

Stocked; The Globe Arnhem

Located in the oldest building – 14th century - in Arnhem, the Netherlands is one of our all time favorite stores. By of all time, we are as serious as one can be. The Globe sold Red Wing boots even before we officially sold boots in Europe. The store is over 30 years old and Looking at their collection of vintage boots, we can tell they have a (hi)story to tell.
